New York car accident leads to serious injuries, deaths

The way traffic is moving can have a considerable impact on how drivers operate their vehicles. In some instances, slow-moving or stopped traffic could cause a need for drivers to pay closer attention and react accordingly. If a vehicle stops suddenly or a driver fails to pay attention to changes in traffic, a serious accident could take place.

How will NYC handle the rise of construction deaths and injuries?

In November two construction workers were killed in Queens after a crane cable split and dropped a 6,500 pound steel beam. This recent tragedy was the breaking point for city officials after the rising string of construction worker deaths throughout New York City. City Council Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito stated that the City Council must reform New York's construction safety.

Lack of security guards may put New York patrons at risk

Many companies have some form of security in place to lower the risks of accidents. However, some establishments may be lacking in security guards, and as a result, they may be putting their businesses and their patrons in danger. Serious incidents can take place at various locations and under any number of circumstances. Therefore, if an individual is injured due to an establishment being unsafe, he or she may have grounds to file a legal claim.

New York accident claims lives of 2 drivers

When a wrong-way driver is involved in a crash, authorities will likely work to determine why the driver was traveling the wrong way. The reasons could have an impact on how the families of any accident victims wish to proceed after the incident. If fatalities do result from a crash resulting from a wrong-way driver, filing wrongful death claims may be warranted.
